This year's Tequila and Mariachi Festival will offer music, drinks, and more

The Tequila and Mariachi Festival of 2018 has prepared an attractive agenda for the month of September . The event will be held in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua , from 27 to 29 of that month.

The smell of tequila and the mariachi’s seductive musical notes will fill the air during the weekend. The Tequila and Mariachi Festival is one of the most important contests of its kind, both on the northern border and in the rest of the country, since it brings together a significant number of tequila houses from all over the country.

The statement pointed out that some mezcal and sotol producers will also attend this event. In addition to the tequila tastings, some of Mexico’s best mariachi ensembles and music groups will perform, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for tourists and locals alike.

The festival has become a 20-year tradition among the border community. It is regularly held at the Plaza de la Mexicanidad in Ciudad Juárez , an area that is dressed up with various attractions such as handicraft sales, children's rodeo, children's shows, folkloric ballet shows, and much more.

In previous editions, the festival featured some of Mexico’s most important talents, such as Diego Herrera, Los Invasores de Nuevo León, Fidel Rueda, and Los Titanes de Durango , among others.
