Decio de María, president of the Mexican Soccer Federation, has announced profound changes in the management of the national teams. The direction of national teams, which was taken by Guillermo Cantú, will be divided in two areas: operations and sports, to be headed by Fernando Cerrilla and Santiago Baños, respectively. "It is not a matter of coming and cleaning everybody. We will build over the solid foundations available," expressed Cantú about the coaches of the younger teams. Meanwhile, the national coach designation continues to be a priority because it is desired to have him remaining in the post until the 2018 World Cup. "The coach of the older National Team will have ever younger human tools available to him. I wish we could make sure that the coach continues the process all the way to Russia, but any decision is not without risks," expressed Cantú. Finally, the Arbitration Commission will be headed by Héctor González Iñárritu after the departure of Rafael Mancilla.
