’s graduation pictures from her master’s degree went viral after she decided to dedicate them to her parents, who are farm workers in the United States .
The postgraduate student from the University of San Diego is daughter to two Mexican immigrants who grow tomatoes in the North American country.
“With all my love, I dedicate my master’s degree to my parents. The sacrifices they made in coming to this country to provide a better future tor us was worth it,” she wrote on Facebook.
Alfaro posted four pictures where she is seen hugging her parents, whom she is deeply proud of.
The graduate has posted several interviews she has given to different media outlets in the United States.
Alfaro did a Master’s in Arts in Education with a Concentration in Counseling Program .
