Mexican baseball will be represented in international tournaments scheduled for the end of this year and in 2019, fostering a development program to improve the level of baseball players in Mexico.

The Mexican team, which ranks fifth place in the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC), will take part in the U23 World Championship, which will be held in October in Barranquilla, Colombia.

During the Assembly of Presidents, which took place in Nuevo León, it was announced that the team would also attend the Premundial Sub 18, which will be played in Panama in November.

In March 2019, the process will continue towards the 2020 Olympic Games with the Pre-American tournament.

Negotiations with the Japanese Baseball League (NPB) will begin in 2019, and the Mexican national team will invite the Japanese team for a series of exhibition games in March.

The Mexican Baseball League (LMB) continues its work in all areas during the rest of 2018 to maintain the development of the specialty in its 16 squares and to reach more fans.
