Mexican actor featured in new Pokémon trailer

Warner Bros. Has just launched their new trailer for Pokémon: Detective Pikachu , a film directed by Rob Letterman , starring Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton , based on the Japanese videogame of the same name.

This will be the first live-action adaptation of Pokémon for the big screen. In the English version, Ryan Reynolds will voice the iconic character Pikachu .

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu will premiere on May 2019

, featuring Mexican actor Omar Chaparro, who plays a Pokémon trainer.
