The Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, along with the violoncellist Danielle Akta, will perform in Mexico for the first time, at the Cervantino International Festival, that will take place from October 10 to October 28.

The orchestra will play on October 13 at 9:00 pm at the Teatro Juárez. Their repertoire includes the New World Symphony, by Antonin Dvorák; Edward Elgar's Concert for Violoncello and Orchestra; and the Israeli Hora dance.

The guest orchestra director Yeruham Scharovsky said that the orchestra members are excited to share the best of their music with the Mexican public.

About Danielle Akta, Scharovsky explained that she is a child prodigy, an international lever cellist at 15 and that she will showcase her talent.
