France's 2nd World Cup victory came as no surprise since the French team dominated the Croatian team during the whole match.

The French took the opportunity to show their perfect technique, and Croatia could not respond.

The match started with a foul from Luka Modric, and then was followed by several fouls by both teams.

France scored its first goal at minute 18 and Croatia at minute 28. N'Golo Kanté, France, received a yellow card at minute 27, and a minute later Croatia scored its first goal.

Antoine Griezmann, France, untied the match by scoring France's 2nd goal. Then followed a series of fouls by both teams. Then Paul Pogba, France, scored their 3rd goal and then, at minute 65, Kylian Mbppé scored France's 4th, and last goal of the match.

Four minutes later Mario Mandzukic scored Croatia's second goal but it was too late, as the French had too much advantage over them.

After halftime, at minute 81, France substituted Olivier Giroud for Nabil Ferkir; at the same time, Croatia substituted Ivan Strinic for Marko Pjaca.

Despite some missed opportunities during the first half, France kept its fast and strong offensive during the second half and managed to score 2 more goals, scoring a total of 4 goals. And Mandzukic scored an auto-goal, a terrible mistake.

France won its first World Cup in 1998, against Brazil, 3-0.
