Mole is a Mexican treasure thanks to its exquisite flavor and its Pre-Hispanic origin

Leer en español

Mole is one of the most representative Mexican dishes, not only for its cooking process, but also because there are dozens of variations from state to state, or even in each city.

Mole is a Mexican treasure thanks to its exquisite flavor and how it can be easily combined with other dishes: enchiladas with mole, green mole with chicken, red mole, and mole pastries.

Mole lovers can enjoy the National Mole Fair, which will take place in San Pedro Atocpan, a magic village in Milpa Alta, Mexico City. A place renown for its mole.

During the fair's 42nd edition, you will enjoy a large variety of moles, such as: red, green, black, mole with almond, mole with cranberries, mole with pine nuts, mole with apple, among many other recipes.

The fair will also be attended by cooks from other cities like Oaxaca, Veracruz, Tlaxcala, Guadalajara, and Toluca. The fair will also offer a large selection of Mexican beverages such as pulque, curado, atoles, and aguamiel.

So don't forget to visit the National Mole Fair, in San Pedro Atocpan, from October 6 to 28. The entrance is MXN $5.00.
