Sports reporter Odin Ciani , from the ESPN television channel, informed that yesterday an armed person entered his sister 's medical office in Tijuana, Baja California , and murdered her.
Through a video on his Twitter account, Odin Ciani said that his sister, who was a physician, was slain “with 3 well-aimed shots” in the presence of her children and mother.
He added that his sister was a woman who dedicated her life to health and sometimes “she did not charge for her practice."
Ciani demanded authorities to resolve the case and addressed President Enrique Peña Nieto , Secretary of the Interior Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong and Baja California governor, Francisco Vega de Lamadrid , to tackle the insecurity problem lived in the country.
On his Twitter account, the former boxer Julio César Chávez , who last week lived through the murder of his brother, wrote a support message.
“Brother, I share your pain, I know what you are going through, a hug.”
