For several days, some Twitter users have commented that pictures with the image of the Palace of Fine Arts and the pyramid of Chichen Itza in Mexico appear in the TV series House of Cards , which tells the story of the rise to power of President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey). And they do!
The author of the sketches, Suhita Shirodkar , confirmed it in her account and published two comparative images.

The work can be seen in Chapter 57, when Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) visits Mexican congressman Alex Romero (James Martinez) in his office. In chapter 58, in that same office, you can see the sketch of Chichen Itza.
We were told that these references to Mexican culture could be used positively. Could it be that the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) and the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) haven't noticed yet? Or is it that they simply don't care?
