Federal officials confirmed that soccer player Alan Pulido was kidnapped after leaving a party in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.
The forward for the Olympiacos, of the Greek league, was kidnapped while he was driving his BMW.
Security sources said that Pulido, 25, was accompanied by his girlfriend, though she was not kidnapped.
