The National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) said that when people take justice in their own hands it reflects a lack of human values in society.
The CNDH expressed in a press release that it is worried about acts of violence like those in Santiago Atlatongo, municipality of Teotihuacán, State of Mexico, when a group of people beat three suspects of kidnapping, killing two.
The CNDH also said that such actions of total lack of respect to the rule of the law have no justification.
"The freedoms of any community in our country are based on the principles of the national constitution, which rules all of us, on the respect to human rights and, most of all, on the personal dignity and integrity," expressed the CNDH.
