Popocatépetl volcano spews 57 low-intensity exhalations

According to the report of the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 57 low-intensity exhalations and five explosions during the last 24 hours.

92 minutes of seismic tremor of 1.2Hz were also registered.

Webcam images show incandescence over the crater at night.

At the time of this report, the volcano spewed light emissions of steam and gas toward east.
