Bayer insists on "Chicharito" being non-transferable

Jonas Boldt, sports director for the Bayer Leverkusen, stressed that Mexican forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernández is non-transferable, and will continue with the team at least until 2018, as laid out in his contract.

"He is not for sale. In addition, I do not believe that his latest statements are  problematic. He simply said what we all know: Soccer is a business," he added.

Hernández expressed recently that in three seasons he has played with the Manchester United, Real Madrid and now the Leverkusen. "In this sport it does not matter if you sign a contract for ten or twelve years, or if you renew it every year" and you can change teams at any time.
