“El Chapo” celebrated New Year's Eve with congresswoman

Intelligence reports revealed that Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán spent Christmas with his wife and daughters and New Year's Eve with congresswoman Lucero Guadalupe Sánchez López, a member of the National Action Party (PAN).

According to information released by Primero Noticias, the leader of the Sinaloa cartel was in Guamúchil accompanied by Sánchez and his security chief “El Cholo” Iván as a host.

Last June it was revealed that Sánchez, representative of the municipality of Cosalá, Sinaloa, visited “El Chapo” in April 2015 when he was in El Altiplano prison using a false ID.
