According to the report of the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), Popocatépetl volcano registered 39 low-intensity exhalations and four explosions in the last 24 hours.


Incandescence was observed over the crater at night.

At the time of this report, continuous emissions of steam and gas heading to Southeast can be observed.

Cenapred urges people not to go near the volcano, due to the hazard caused by ballistic fragments.
