The recovery phase is next: EPN

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto pointed out that in the wake of hurricane Patricia, what must be done now is to ensure the restoration of essential utilities in the affected areas.

"What comes next is the recovery phase, to ensure the prompt restoration of basic utilities," expressed the President on Twitter.

Peña Nieto also said that based on the latest information, the "preventive alert" in Colima, Jalisco and Nayarit hasNayarit has been lifted.

In the meantime, the various agencies of the federal government continue to tour the affected areas, in order to evaluate the damages.
