Itzel Nayeli, the 20-year-old suspect of committing several knife attacks in the neighborhoods of Chimalhuacán, was sent to the Neza-Bordo state prison, where she will face four charges against her, according to the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (PGJEM).
The woman, known as "The Slayer," was transfered last afternoon to the prison in the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl.
The woman faces charges for assault against seven residents of Chimalhuacán, two of whom were killed.
The charges against the woman are for injuries, homicide, attempted homicide and lesions.
Itzel Nayeli was arrested last Thursday morning when she was arriving at her family's residence in Chimalhuacán.
According to the Attorney General, two of the victims identified Itzel Nayeli as their aggressor, in attacks on September 13.
One of the victims was her former lover, a driver of a suburban public transportation unit, who had a discussion with her on the vehicle. The other was a candy seller in the Metropolitan Subway System of Mexico City, who demanded payment in order to allow her to sell her merchandise there.
According to Itzel Nayeli, she was under the influence of paint thinner, which she had been inhaling, when she attacked them.
