Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto arrived at the National Institute of Rehabilitation to meet with the six Mexicans wounded in an attack by the security forces of Egypt on September 13.
The President arrived in a helicopter to the hospital south of Mexico City, in order to meet with the compatriots that survived the assault of the Egyptian army and police while visiting an oasis east of the country.
Eight more compatriots died in the attack.
The group of six injured returned to Mexico on board the presidential plane, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Claudia Ruiz Massieu and were immediately transferred by helicopter to the National Institute of rehabilitation.
Mexico has presented three diplomatic notes to Egypt demanding the clarification of the attack, determining where responsibility lies in the incident and a full reparation for the victims and their relatives.
