The Mexican Minister of Foreign Affairs, Claudia Ruiz Massieu, will travel to Egypt along seven relatives of the tourists attacked there by the security forces, in order to provide them with support and to dialog with the highest authorities of that country.
According to the spokesperson of the Mexican government, Eduardo Sánchez, the Minister will travel on board the presidential aircraft and by order of President Enrique Peña Nieto she will provide all the needed support to the families of the victims.
In response to a question by EL UNIVERSAL about the number of victims, after Egyptian media reported that seven Mexicans are dead, Ruiz Massieu expressed that so far only two dead and six injured have been confirmed, while the circumstances surrounding other six cases remain unknown.
