Javier "Chicharito" Hernández is now a Bayer Leverkusen player, ESPN reported quoting his agent Eduardo Hernández.

"Javier did the examinations today. He already passed them. He is now a Bayer Leverkusen player," Hernández told ESPN Mexico.

The Leverkusen had money to spend following the sale of Son Heung-Min to Tottenham last week. The team is expected to present him formally tomorrow.

ESPN added that Hernández is believed to be costing Leverkusen around 12 million euros.
