Javier Hernández was successfully operated this morning after suffering a collarbone fracture.

The surgery was performed at the Memorial Hermann hospital in Texas.

Héctor González Iñárritu, director of national soccer teams and Carlos Pecanha, physiotherapist, were at the hospital during the Mexican striker's surgery.

According to doctors, Hernández would take between three and four weeks to recover.

Javier Orozco "El Chuleta" was chosen to replace Javier Hernández.
