Iván García gets the gold in Pan-American games

Mexican diver Iván García ratified his current good moment when he got the gold medal in the Pan-American Games in Toronto.

"The Chick," as he is called by his friends, got the best results in the platform out of 12 divers and gave his country its fourth gold medal in the games, as well as a ticket to the Olympics.

Iván, also gold medalist in Guadalajara 2011, defeated locals Maxim Bouchard and Vincent Riendeau.

The silver went to Colombian Víctor Ortega (455.15) and bronze for Mexican Jonathan Ruvalcaba (437.35). García got 521.70 points.
