The Italian singer, composer, and jazz pianist Stefano Bellani offered a concert last Tuesday for the first time in Mexico , at the Blas Galindo Auditorium in the National Arts Center , bringing a repertoire of different music styles, performing some of his own compositions as well as famous Mexican boleros.
Yesterday, the National Arts Center of Mexico (CENART) tweeted: “Stefano Bollani’s jazz is accompanying us! If you are unable to attend, follow our live feed through #InterfazCenart.”
This concert was part of the Pianoforte Italia music cycle , conducted by the Florence Art Academy, the Dante Alighieri Society, the Italian Institute of Culture, and the High Justice School .
Ever since he was a music student, Stefano Bollani has shown his unique personality, studying classical piano and jazz at the same time. This is why his repertoire encompasses a broad range of genres and historic periods.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with world-known musicians such as Gato Barbieri, Chick Corea, Chano Domínguez, Bill Frisell, Sol Gabetta, Richard Galliano, Egberto Gismonti, Lee Konitz, Bobby McFerrin, Pat Metheny, Caetano Veloso, Phil Woods, Hector Zazou and the trumpet player Enrico Rava , with whom he has recorded over 15 albums .
