Mexico's National Football reaches fans worldwide

Mexico's National Football Team – known as the “Tri” – has opened a Twitter account in English. The teams behind the accounts of Mexico's Football League ( Liga MX ) and the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football ( CONCACAF ) have already begun promoting the new account.

With the hashtag #NowWeAreTalking , Mexico's National Football Team is trying to reach fans in other countries so they can have first-hand information about them and an easier means to contact them.

Thus far, their English account has garnered 9,891 followers, compared to the 5.7 million they have on their Spanish account.
