The tourist, cultural, natural, artisanal, and gastronomic attractions of six municipalities of the State of Querétaro will be present at the Expo Sierra Gorda 2018 , which will be held from July 13 to 15 , at the city’s Center of the Arts .

The Minister of State Tourism, Hugo Burgos García , and municipal authorities of the mountain region gave details of the emblematic exhibition, which aims to bring the region’s main attractions to the inhabitants and visitors of the city of Querétaro for the rest of the summer season.

The participating sierra municipalities are Arroyo Seco, Jalpan de Serra, Landa de Matamoros, Pinal de Amoles, Peñamiller, San Joaquín, and, as a special guest, the Magic Town of Cadereyta , located in the semi-desert of Queretaro.

Additionally, there will be tour operators offering services within the attractions of the Sierra Gorda, ecotourism camps, producers of handicrafts, beverages and gastronomy, as well as a nursery that will display local vegetation, in charge of the Ministry of Agricultural Development of the state (SEDESU) .

Burgos García

said that more than six thousand people are expected to attend and enjoy this exhibition within the Center of the Arts, as there will be 24 stands with exhibitors of handicrafts, wood carving, fruit liqueurs, tour operators, traditional sweets, and Landa coffee .

In addition, there will be Ixtle and stone crafts, ointments, and syrups, as well as liqueurs, saddlery, embroidery, among others.

Furthermore, during the three days of Expo Sierra, an artistic program with traditional dance and music from each of the municipalities will be carried out, stressed the state official.
