Cervantino Festival in Mexico City

Part of the program of the 45th edition of the Cervantino International Festival ( Festival Internacional Cervantino abbreviated FIC ) to be held from October 11 to 29 in the city of Guanajuato , will be presented in Mexico City as well.

This year France will be the guest country while the State of Mexico will be the guest state .

The thematic axes of this year's edition will be Revolution , the Russian Revolution centenary , and the Mexican Constitution centenary .

The National Center of Arts ( Centro Nacional de las Artes abbreviated Cenart ), Palace of Fine Arts ( Palacio de Bellas Artes ), Julio Castillo Theater , Esperanza Iris City Theater , Sala Miguel Covarrubias , Sala Nezahualcóyotl , and Sala Carlos Chávez are some of the several venues in Mexico City that will receive the 45th edition of the Cervantino International Festival.

The National Ballet of Marseilles with Rocco , the National Folkloric Ballet of Slovakia , the ensemble Le Poeme Harmonique , Foyle-Štšura duo , the concert by Olli Mustonen , the greatest exponent of Prokofiev's music, and the work of San Nonakam are some of the featuring events in Mexico City.
