Today, Rogelio Sosa López, a businessman from Michoacán, received the Medal of Supreme Civic Merit of the American National Board, granted by the City of Zitacuaro, for promoting and patenting a process to create fuel from the nopal's (cacti) biomass.

Through his Twitter account, the Michoacán governor, Silvano Aureoles, congratulated Rogelio Sosa on the Nopalimex project and its contribution to the environment.
 

"I congratulate Rogelio Sosa, a businessman from Tiquicheo, for receiving the medal of civic merit from the Supreme National Board of the Americas. Congratulations!”
