The increase in fuel price by 6.9% at the start of 2018 has taken the happy out of New Year. This is why it doesn't hurt to learn of a few ways in which we can save gas and money.
.- The maintenance of your vehicle is important since having a tuned engine is vital in maintaining fuel efficiency.

.- Try not to idle your car in the mornings for more than 30 or 45 seconds, even if it's cold. Less than a minute is time enough to warm the engine.

.- Do not speed up if it's not necessary. For manual transmission cars, experts recommend shifting gears before the 2,00 rpm. For automatic transmissions, they recommend stepping lightly on the gas pedal to keep a moderate acceleration.

.- Less is more, so try not to carry heavy things in the trunk, and if you do, make sure weight is distributed as evenly as possible.
