Christmas is near, and so are the many delicious holiday dishes that Mexican culture has to offer. One of the most essential culinary treasures during this Christmas season are Romeritos with mole, made out of quelites which give this delicacy its name: 'Romeritos.' Today, we will tell you about some of its health benefits.

1- According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries, and Food of Mexico (SAGARPA), quelites are rich in nitrogen, protein, and amino acids. Thus, their nutritional value is as high as that of spinach, chard, and cress.
