Mireles reported stable after surgery

Former spokesman of the self-defense organizations of Michoacán, José Manuel Mireles Valverde, had a surgery in Mexico City after suffering from an arrhythmia, a surgery in which he had no complications, informed his sister Virginia Mireles.

She also said that Mireles has a cardiac catheterization from which he is recovering, he can even speak and feels well.

Mireles was admitted last Saturday to an exclusive hospital in the city of Morelia, Michoacán and then transferred by plane to the National Institute of Cardiology, where he was examined and operated on.
