According to the report provided by the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), in the last 24 hours, the Popocatépetl volcano registered 163 low-intensity exhalations accompanied by steam and gas emissions and one explosion today morning.

Also, two volcano-tectonic quakes were reported yesterday at 5:03 pm and at 7:18 pm with a magnitude 2.4 and 1.7 respectively.

240 minutes of low-amplitude tremor were also reported.
Slight incandescence over the crater and a continuous emission of steam and gas were observed at night.
