At least six wounded in roller coaster accident in Jalisco

The cars went off the rails on a roller coaster in the city of Guadalajara and at least a half a dozen people were wounded, with three of them with fractures in the head, hips, arms, and legs, according to reports.

The incident happened last Saturday at 10:00 p.m. in a local amusement park, when part of the structure broke.

Medical emergency units arrived at the area to provide assistance to the wounded and the most severe cases were taken to a local hospital.

According to preliminary reports, the victims are both adults and children.
