Pachuca buys Chile's Everton

Pachuca Group announced the purchase of the Chilean soccer club Everton Viña del Mar.

"We have reached an agreement, that will be finalized in the coming days, to buy 80 percent of the shares of Chile's Everton de Viña del Mar, a club of great tradition and one of the six most popular in Chile", said the Pachuca.

Telecommunications tycoon Carlos Slim is a shareholder in the Pachucha.
