Emir Garduño Montalvo, known as #LordRollsRoyce, was transferred from the federal prison of Almoloya de Juárez to the prison of Chiconautla, in Ecatepec, State of Mexico.
Local sources reported that the transfer was conducted this morning, with no comments from the authorities about the causes.
Garduño Montalvo was arrested for the attack conducted by his bodyguards against police officer Jorge Vera Manzanares in the city of Toluca.
The Office of the Attorney General of the State of Mexico reported the arrest of two of his bodyguards, who supposedly participated in the attack during a traffic problem which caused an altercation.
