Earthquake felt in Oaxaca

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake, with epicenter located 15 kilometers (9miles) from Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca, was reported at 18:29 pm, the National Seismological Service said.

National Civil Protection reported the quake on its Twitter account "#Earthquake detected. Alert Not Activated.”

The slight earthquake was not felt in Mexico City.

No damages have been reported so far.
