"We are still on a warpath and will not give up," expressed one of the mothers of the teachers in training who disappeared on September 26 last year, when a march headed by the parents of the kids and supporting organizations arrived at the Monument to Benito Juárez.
The participants in the march, which began at the Monument of the Independence, are against the official position on the case, that states that the students were burned to cinders in the garbage dump of the city of Cocula, as said by the Office of the Attorney General (PGR).
The parents added that the will not end with their actions in demand of truth until they get what they want.
"We are looking for our children. But alive, not in mass graves because they are still alive," expressed other of the mothers.
They reiterated that they will not accept money as compensation for their plight, "because our children don't have a price".
The parent also manifested their support to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights' International Group of Independent Experts (GIEI) and thanked the organizations which have accompanied them for more than a year in their fight.
