Chivas warms things up before match against Pumas

Chivas Guadalajara, which will visit Pumas UNAM for date 12 of the Apertura tournament, is starting to heat things up in light of its growing rivalry with the team from Mexico City.

"Purr, your daddy is back …" expressed Chivas on social networks, taunting Pumas and causing reactions from fans of both teams.

Until now, the results between the teams favor the Chivas with a balance of 13 victories over Pumas, with 25 defeats and six draws.

"I think I saw a pussycat," and many other phrases dissing the Pumas as mere kitten have been used by players and fans of Chivas alive for a long time.

Whether the Pumas, with 22 points in the general ranking, are true kitties or not will become clear next Sunday, when they receive Chivas in their Universitario 68 stadium.

Chivas is placed in the ninth place with 16 points.
