Felipe de la Cruz, a spokesman for the parents of the 43 missing students of Ayotzinapa, said that their meeting with President Enrique Peña Nieto on September 24 will not change their plans to hold a 43-hour hunger strike.

In an interview with Radio Fórmula, he confirmed that they will set up a protest camp on September 23 at Mexico City's main square known as Zócalo and that they will leave on September 25.

The students, who were last seen on September 2014, were allegedly burned by a criminal gang colluded with local authorities and their ashes put in plastic bags and thrown to a river.
