Mexican singer Belinda expressed her support to journalist Jorge Ramos after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump kicked him out of a press conference.
The singer expressed her solidarity to Ramos through the social networks and also had something to say about Trump.
"My support and love for Jorge Ramos and all that he represents, freedom of press and expression ... Trump knows that he is insulting Mexicans and Latinos, 16 million potential votes, and it is very improbable that he could win the elections. Trump knows that a lot of Americans want to know what he preaches. Why is he doing that?" expressed the singer.
Belinda regretted the comments by Trump and spoke about the immigration problems in the whole world, expressing that besides talking about Trump and insulting him, wide-reaching reforms are needed in order to keep people from migrating to the U.S.
She also expressed that "when Trump dies, all his success in business will not provide him with the passport for his last travel, the same passport and help that he wants to deny in life to millions of people whose only sin was to be born in a country without opportunities," she said.
She ended with a message of support for Ramos. "All my support for @jorgeramosnews! pic.twitter.com/DhOqTBuAdP
