Chivas opens Copa MX with victory

Chivas Guadalajara opened its participation in the Copa MX tournament with a 2-0 victory over Mineros Zacatecas in the Omnilife stadium.

Carlos Fierro opened the score at 45 and Omar Bravo scored at 79 and Chivas got its first three points of the tournament.

The referee was León Vicente Barajas, who sanctioned visiting Mauricio Castañeda, as well as Chivas's Juan Basulto and Carlos Salcedo.
