Mexico's Supreme Court will not oversee Aristegui-MVS case

Mexico's Supreme Court (SCJN) decided not to oversee the legal dispute between the media company MVS Radio and journalist Carmen Aristegui, who wants to be reinstalled in her position along with her team after she was abruptly fired in March.

 

The second meeting between Carmen Aristegui and representatives of MVS on May 21 ended without agreements.

MVS sued the journalist for misusing MVS contents for her own website and violating intellectual property rights.

A District Court in administrative matters will now rule over the case.
