Bimbo Iberia, which belongs to Grupo Bimbo, invested 50 million euros in a new factory locatedin the Miralcampo Industrial Estate in Azuqueca de Henares, Guadalajara, Spain.
The factory, which covers an area of 60,000 square meters, is the eight that the company has in the Iberian Peninsula, Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.
"The opening of this factory in Spain, reinforces our commitment to continue innovating and delivering products with the highest quality to our consumers" said Daniel Servitje, president of the group.
Bimbo Iberia is one of the largest organizations in the food sector in Spain and Portugal. It has maintained its leadership position over almost 50 years, thanks to the quality of its more than 100 products and the strength of its 13 brands. It is now the most important baking company in the world and has 126,000 collaborators.
