The QS World University Rankings revealed its , featuring 1,000 of the most prestigious universities in the world. The ranking is based on a methodology which assesses each institution on six metrics , including its reputation amongst academics and employers .

And this year, there is good news for Mexico .

Mexico's National Autonomous University, UNAM

, was ranked as the best university in Mexico , the second best university in Latin America , and the best 103rd university in the world.

According to the QS World University Rankings 2020 , the UNAM moved from the 113th place to the 103rd.

In the last four years, the UNAM climbed 72 positions, therefore, the UNAM could soon be among the best 100 universities in the world .
