Mexico earns a spot at Women's U-17 championship

Mexico Women's Football Team has earned its place at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Uruguay after defeating Canada 2-1

Mexico Women's National Under-17 Football Team has earned its pass to the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Uruguay 2018 after defeating Canada 2 to 1 in the semifinals of the CONCACAF qualification tournament.

The goals of the Mexican team were scored by Annette Vázquez (minute 6) and Nicole Pérez as a penalty kick (minute 45). Meanwhile, Canada's Teni Akindoju scored in minute 37, achieving a temporary draw. 
 

The Women's Football Team will play the final this Tuesday against whoever wins today between the United States and Haiti.

As for Canada, they will get their last shot at earning a spot in the Under-17 Championship if they win the third-place match.
