Super Junior collaborated with Reik to perform "Otra vez," a fusion of Latin music and K-pop

Super Junior, a pop band from South Korea, recently announced a music collaboration with the Mexican band Reik to perform “Otra vez” (“One more time”), a fusion of Latin music and K-pop.

“One more time” was the title chosen for the Asian boy band’s next mini-album, which was launched along with an official clip of the music collaboration at 18:000 hours local time on Monday through Super Junior’s social media.

The Mexican band participated in the shoot of the official video in the month of July, at the “MGM Cotai” luxury hotel in Macau, China.

The K-pop band announced that their next album would be inspired by Latin pop, a music genre with which they decided to experiment.

On April 12 of the present year, the Korean singers launched their single Lo Siento” (I’m Sorry), featuring the Dominican singer and composer Leslie Grace. The song was performed in Korean, English, and Spanish.

With 13 years of trajectory, Super Junior, also known as “SuJu,” is one of the most famous K-pop bands. They have even been called “The Kings of the Hallyu Wave,” referring to South Korea’s pop culture.

On April 2018, the band gave concerts in Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Mexico as part of their “Super Show 7” world tour.
