Two Mexican filmmakers didn't leave the 44th Iberoamerican Film Festival empty-handed, which took place in Huelva, Spain.

Jimena Montemayor, director of “Restos del Viento” (Remains of the wind), a drama about a widow and her children, won the Wofest Prize.

And the Radio Exterior de España Prize was awarded to Xavi Sala for his film “El Ombligo de Guie'dani” (Guie'dani's bellybutton).

Sala's film, which has some parts spoken in Zapoteco, tells the story of an Indigenous girl and her mother, who start working for a middle-upper class family in Mexico City.
