Cuarón and del Toro to produce a film based on Los Demonios del Edén by Lydia Cacho

published her book The Eden Demons, the Power that Protects Child Pornography (" Los demonios del Edén" ) in 2004 . Now, in collaboration with Alfonso Cuarón and Guillermo del Toro , the book about child pornography and the sexual exploitation of minors will be taken to the big screen as a movie .

The journalist broke the news to Vanity Fair , she confirmed that both Oscar winners will be the producers and Patricia Riggen will direct the film.

She said that they are still deciding who is going to play Lydia in the film and that the idea came up years ago because of her friendship with Cuarón and Del Toro. She added that the project was defined during the last Morelia's International Film Festival.
