Coco was inspired by Mexican culture and its unique traditions

The Disney Pixar animated film, "Coco", winner of multiple awards, including the Oscar and Golden Globe, will be screened in the movie theaters in Mexico this year.

Both Cinemex and Cinépolis, Mexico's biggest movie theaters, will screen the movie from October 26 to November 1st to commemorate the Day of the Dead season.

Directed by Lee Unkrich, who visited Mexico a few days ago and participated in the Pixelatl Festival in Cuernavaca, Morelos, "Coco" is inspired by the traditions and cultural richness of Mexico.

The film premiered last year and became the most watched movie in Mexican history.
