Pedro Alfonso N, also known as “Moreno 14,” main operator of Dámaso López Serrano, the “Mini Lic,” was arrested in Eldorado, Sinaloa, by federal forces.

During a raid implemented by elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) of the Attorney General of Mexico (PGR) and special forces of the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), Moreno 14 was detained and a 66-year-old kidnapped man was freed.

Pedro Alfonso is identified as the leader of a cell of the Sinaloa cartel which operates in Eldorado and as the security manager of the criminal operations, being in charge of running a surveillance network constituted by hitmen.

The network managed by “Moreno 14” informed of the presence of security authorities and members of rival cartels, which allowed evasion maneuvers. The detained coordinated the security of the son of Dámaso López, “El Licenciado,” when he was in the region of Eldorado.

During the raid, 4 men and a woman were detained. 2 long firearms and 1 handgun were secured, along with 3 vehicles, of which one was reported as stolen, 4,4 pounds of crystal, 8,8 ounces of cocaine, two digital scales, and cash.

The agents found a handgun which had engraved the letters FED, Fuerzas Especiales de Dámaso (Dámaso's Special Forces), and “Comandante Moreno 14” (Commander Moreno 14,) propriety of Pedro Alfonso Domínguez Ramírez.
